Waikiwi Vet Services makes annual donation

WaikiwiInvercargill-based Waikiwi Vet Services recently made a generous donation of $1,500 to Healthy Pets New Zealand.

"We know the funds will be used to improve the health of our furry friends in the long term through improving knowledge, and that this knowledge will be shared with the people who can use it to benefit New Zealand pets,” says Practice Manager, Delwyn Thompson.

“Waikiwi Vets has been very happy to support Healthy Pets New Zealand over the last few years, and will continue to do so in the future. Healthy Pets helps fill an important funding gap in companion animal research and education in this country.

“We have raised funds each year through a small donation from the practice every time we euthanise a pet. This way, every passing is contributing to the health of future generations in some small way," she says.
